Sometimes stuff sucks. It’s ok. It’s true. On the four of cups we were just a little too arrogant to appreciate everything but here on the five, we are bummed out. Three of this mermaids’ cups sink into the sea, their tasty contents blending with the sea water, never to be a tasty beverage ever again.
What’s that behind her though?
When it gets pretty rough and we start devaluing ourselves, we cheat ourselves out of being able to accept the parts of our life with staying power, and what treasures they are for that. This isn’t the easiest thing to accept, and the overall meaning of the card is connected to the inability to let go. Buck up though, you still have two whole cups! .
