We’re feeling good, now. We’re rested up and ready to tackle…something. We want some adventure (the 7 is a Chariot card) but which game to play? If we want to get going, we’d better pick one and stick with it.
This card is asking you to define your passion a little bit better. Maybe you like the freedom of being a jack of all trades, but this is telling you that you could really do something if you grabbed one of these ideas and really ran with it. We have a solar disc, an all-seeing-eye, a lotus, a skull, some hearts, a piece of fruit, and a lyre. Each cup is crafted as a different idea, ideologically, directionally, or perhaps randomly. Perhaps this is a rush of ideas coming from different spots in what we want, it’s up to us to sort them out, one at a time. The focus that we do it with is our key.

Sometimes stuff sucks. It’s ok. It’s true. On the four of cups we were just a little too arrogant to appreciate everything but here on the five, we are bummed out. Three of this mermaids’ cups sink into the sea, their tasty contents blending with the sea water, never to be a tasty beverage ever again.
What’s that behind her though?
When it gets pretty rough and we start devaluing ourselves, we cheat ourselves out of being able to accept the parts of our life with staying power, and what treasures they are for that. Before we know it, we’ve gone around the world and back. It’s been another year or we’ve left home for parts unknown and returned a Fool, but a Fool with experience!
The World dances barefoot at the bottom of a yoni like shape, it we were to follow this shape upward it would conclude as another infinity. This is to show time and time again, we will be born into the situations of the world. If we have made observations and learned and grown, we know the dance moves for any given situation come from our ability to find the rhythm.
